iFish show 2015
Going to the iFish show 2015…
End of November I went to the iFISH show 2015 near Haywards Heath. Organised by Sussex Fly Dressers Guild it was busy and I went to help out Cameron Craigs on the Albury Fisheries stand. Surprised as to how many people were there that I already knew or who wanted to chat so that was a hectic day.
Next morning over to Dever Springs to help out a bit more with the bank repair job we started a month or so back and also a bit of fencing repair. Good to actually ‘work’ and then in the afternoon off to a gardening job.
26th was AGM of Dorking Fly Fishers (somehow, many years ago, they made me President.) and it’s always interesting to hear club comments about fisheries.
Yesterday (4th) was a corporate day at Dever and we got lucky with a nice clear day. Fishing was excellent and topped off with a 13-4 rainbow and I saw a brown equally as big. Good group and a happy day. Fishery looked top notch too.
It’s Dorking FF annual dinner tonight and then tomorrow over to tropical Sidcup to meet up with long time friends, Taff and Madelaine Price. In case you don’t know, Taff is a legend in the emtomology and fly tying worlds.
